AIM consists of several components which are described by this manual as far as necessary to use the system:
A graphical user interface for stand-alone operation of AIM, also good for quick tests and
A manual gridding editor to enable processing of images which cannot be segmented automatically.
A set of commandline tools which do the work behind the GUI.
